ROKIT 3DISON H700

The Engineering Design Team Council recently purchased a ROKIT 3DISON H700 Professional 3D printer. This machine is intended to be used as a high-quality prototyping tool and not as a learning or experimental machine. Only officially trained student design team members (by the EDT Coordinator or 3D Printer Support group) are able to book and operate the printer. For more information about the rules and policies for the ROKIT H700 3D printer, please refer to the EDT Handbook or direct questions to the EDT Coordinator at team.engineering@ubc.ca

Makerbot Replicator 2X

The Engineering Design Team Coordinator maintains a Makerbot Replicator 2X 3D printer. Due to its inappropriate use in the past, this printer is now only available to engineering design team members and not to any student. This machine is intended to be used as a prototyping tool, with room for learning but no experimentation. Any member of a student design team is allowed to use the printer, given that an officially trained student design team member is supervising, or has proven to have trained the student operating the printer. For more information about the rules and policies for the Makerbot Replicator 2X 3D printer, please refer to the EDT Handbook or direct questions to the EDT Coordinator at team.engineering@ubc.ca

3D printer bookings are listed in the calendar below. It is your responsibility to ensure that your booking does not conflict with a previous team’s reservation.
